How to use
Get accurate cladding calculations in three simple steps.
Enter your board dimensions
Open the Calculator tab. Enter the width of your bottom board (bottenbräda) and cover board (lockbräda) in millimetres. These are the actual widths of the boards you are using.
Set your facade width and gap range
Enter the total width of the facade you want to cover. Then set your minimum and maximum acceptable gap between boards. The app will find all solutions within that range.
Corner boards: If your facade has corner boards, expand the corner board section and enter the width. The app automatically subtracts the corner board overlap from the net facade width.
Review results and export
The app instantly shows all valid solutions within your gap range, with a visual sketch and control measurements for 3, 5, 7 and 9 boards. Tap any solution to see the full detail view.
From the detail view you can:
- Export a professional PDF or PNG with all measurements
- Share the result via email or message
- Save the calculation with a name and notes
Tips
Save your defaults: Go to Settings → Default values to pre-fill your most commonly used board widths. This saves time on repeat jobs.
Offline use: All calculations and saved results work without an internet connection.
Languages: The app is available in Swedish, English and German. Change the language in your iPhone settings.
